We have been made aware that a number of people plan to try and access the Bolesworth Estate to attend Club Boles over the weekend - we would like to reiterate that the event is not open to anyone who is not currently a competitor, groom, owner, VIP or private guest of the Bolesworth Estate.
The event is closed to the public for safety reasons following the substantial amount of rain in the past week. Our security teams have been supplied with guest lists, accreditation lists for competitors and their connections, and have been briefed to take appropriate measures including escorting anyone without permission off site and police intervention where necessary.
We would like remind anyone who purchased a general admission ticket that this is not valid for the event, and refunds will be made to you via the relevant ticket agent.
We have been able to run our hospitality facility (incorporating tonight’s Elite Yearling Auction) due to the small numbers of vehicles involved and it is of huge importance to help us support our sponsors, owners and riders for the benefit of the sport.
VIP Hospitality guests have been contacted directly with details in regard to access to hard standing parking.
Thank you for all your support to date; this is not a decision that we at the Equerry Bolesworth International Horse Show have taken lightly and we ask for your patience during this busy period whilst we continue to make provision for the sport aspects of the event to continue.
