This summer will see the most glamorous equestrian event in the North, The Bolesworth International Horse Show, return to Cheshire from 13-16th June offering four days of world-class sport, blockbusting family entertainment and live music.
World-renowned double individual Olympic gold medallist Charlotte Dujardin OBE and Olympic gold medallist Carl Hester MBE will return to Bolesworth to kick off the dressage action on Wednesday 13th June, joined by the best riders from around the world many of whom will have high hopes for next year’s Olympics in Tokyo.
This stand-out summer show takes place in the spectacular grounds of Bolesworth Castle in the heart of Cheshire and promises an exciting mix of thrilling equestrian action including show jumping, dressage and eventing as well as polo competition, along with an unmissable Puissance and Bolesworth's prestigious Elite Auction. And for those just wanting have a great time and be fully entertained the popular super-hero themed Mini Major and the new heart-pumping ‘Ride and Drive’ competitions will be making a return to wow the crowds.
Weekend show days will be filled with countryside fun for children with a vintage carousel, exotic animals, adrenalin-fuelled quad bike action, inflatables and zorb balls. Visitors won’t be able to resist the luxury shopping area with unique home wares, stand-out artwork, stylish clothing and accessories available from independent retailers to suit all budgets. For foodies there will be a selection of local produce and fine food as well as snacks, children’s favourites and carefully chosen wines and spirits for the adults. The grown-ups can head to Club Boles to experience a packed schedule of live music including a high-energy disco night, a decadent ‘white’ party, a celebrity DJ from Ibiza and an exciting new international band, soon to be announced.
And this year everyone can be a VIP at Bolesworth with the opportunity to upgrade with a Members Ticket, new for 2019, which includes forward parking, a VIP seating area from 8am-6pm with tea, coffee and delicious snacks available. Campers can also make a night of it and sleepover in the affordable and convenient festi-huts positioned within the grounds of Bolesworth Castle.
