The final day at the Dodson & Horrell Bolesworth International Horse Show, yesterday Sunday the 3rd of July, delivered plenty of intense action across all classes, from the ultra-competitive big-money Dodson & Horrell CSI3* Grand Prix, to the fun Fancy Dress Mini Major pairs relay.
Saturday, the fourth day of the Dodson & Horrell International Horse Show, was hailed a success having played host to Ladies Day, a family dog show, BETA Safety Hub where visitors and riders, such as Ben Hobday, learnt CPR, and could also get a taste of riding on a simulator dressage horse.

This year, we will be returning to our original format, showcasing an elite selection of top potential yearlings. Yearlings in June are at a great age for serious buyers and are able to demonstrate a good idea of their raw talent over a pole”.
Set in the prestigious International Arena against the backdrop of Bolesworth Castle, the Elite Yearling Auction is excited to showcase many of the best show jumping lines including Kannan, Emerald and Cornet Obolensky to name but a few. One particularly special filly is lot number 10, ‘One Rock Star’ by legendary sire Big Star. This filly is also uterine sister to three 1.60m performers- Newton Abbot, Glen Devon and Newton Nickel- with an additional three siblings competing at 1.40-1.50m, a very rare opportunity to buy from such a star studded dam line! The carefully selected yearlings can be viewed by appointment prior to the auction in the paddock next to the Castle Arena, with an official preview at 6pm on Thursday 13th June.
