2016 Results

Bolesworth International's elite sport auction proved to be another superb success on Friday night as a dazzling array of yearling talent took centre-stage.

Sourced from the best showjumping horse breeders and producers in Europe, 14 yearling lots were sold at an average price of £13,750 in front of a capacity audience in Bolesworth's VIP hospitality area.

And the top sale of £30,000 was for colt foal BP Gone Global, donated by Rio Olympics-bound Irish showjumper Greg Broderick, with all proceeds going to the Jack and Jill Children's Foundation and the Dublin-based Our Lady's Children's Hospital in Ireland.

The foal, bought by the Czech Republic showjumper Emma Augier de Moussac as part of an international showjumping syndicate, is by Quidam Junior, and a three-quarter brother of Greg's Rio ride, the 10-year-old gelding MHS Going Global.
