After last year's unprecedented conditions, we have made a lot of changes to this year's show. Huge improvements have been made to the infrastructure with new drains & roads across the site. A new layout with a specific shopping village as you come into the show, and a new traffic management system with plenty of contingency if we are hit again by bad weather. We will have an additional covered Grandstand and a new ringside public bar with tables to view the main arena. Loos will be much better placed!!
Sadly one loss for this year is the National Show jumping classes in the grass arena. We sincerely appreciate the support we have had from National competitors over the last decade, and hope that you will understand the need for us to focus on raising the standard of the event as a whole.
We are very excited to have 2 days of International Dressage on Wed/Thurs. A Carl Hester Demo is included in the ticket price on Wed! Along with the usual fabulous show jumping, we are excited to be hosting a leg of the Industry Pro Wakeboard Tour on the lake Sat and Sun, with beach bar viewing & have a go session in between International competition!
We very much look forward to welcoming you to a new look and feel Bolesworth....for all information please visit www.bolesworthinternational.com

Annabel Roberts Such a shame for so many National competitors for whom jumping at Bolesworth is one of the main highlights of the season. Are you having any national competitions in the main arenas as you say only the grass competitions are not continuing? Surely the unbelievable continued popularity of national classes at major UK international shows such as the Hickstead RIHS and Derby meetings must make a major contribution to the financial success and viability of both shows? I understand the horrendous wet weather last year made the national events not viable whatsoever but other years the going has been fantastic and has given so many national competitors the amazing experience of competiting at such a fantastic show as Bolesworth
Andrea Penny Yet another show becoming elitist and catering for those who have the sponsors n the money. Pity, was looking forward to competing in the national classes.
Lesley Hardcastle I'm not sure "raising the standard of the event " is the best marketing phrase to let down your stalwart national competitors - personally it makes it unviable for us to attend as its too far just to be a spectator . Let's hope your locals attend as your national competitors made up a large percentage of your spectators and users of catering/vip attendees. We will replace our annual pilgrimage with an entry to Bramham horse trials and Hickstead who still cater for national competitors .
Jacqui Deighton Such a shame money prevails once again, no more Bolesworth for us after many enjoyable years! I'm more than sure someone will take up the mantle and support grass roots national showjumping
Lizzie Pearson It's excellent that you are consistently seeking to improve the show and, as with the Liverpool show, your willingness to seek and listen to the views of spectators and competitors is to your absolute credit. ......BUT I think it is a huge mistake to lose the National element of the showjumping. I sincerely hope you reflect on this decision and opt to lead the way in showjumping by supporting the nationals.....without which the future for the GBR international circuit will be bleak and far too exclusive
Bryonee Warren Despite the weather last year it never over shadowed the entertainment. Even trying to get the car out the mud was entertaining. It didn't put us off and I was pregnant at the time!
Catherine Trimarco I had 4 tickets for my 50th birthday last year for the Friday and we weren't allowed in! 😬 was told I could get a refund but so far no one has answered my correspondence, very much doubt I'll run the risk of losing £50 again this year never mind the disappointment 😢
Rachel Clarkson Last year was brilliant in spite of the mud and you coped admirably. I am glad the toilets are being re-sited. Can't wait.
Margaret White Sounds much better to all over place last year can't wait :)
Belinda Hall Sounds much better...altho been coming since you started ...and we did have a giggle despite the conditions. X
Nicola Millar Have supported the show since you started and the weather although scary at times didn't dampen my enjoyment. Can't wait 😀
Jazz Markl Holly Bernard New that's me and you not riding here

Ali Harrison I would bring my daughter Abi Poppy Looker as she has moved yards now and left me, it does feel Like I've lost my partner in crime when your in the saddle so a horsey day out together watching all those amazing rides will inspire us both to trot on!!!! 🐴💙🦄💗
Lauren Elizabeth Holloway I'd bring Karen Grafton-Brown! She's as crazy about dressage as I am and I think she'd love to go. We've been friends for nearly 6 years and our horses are next door neighbours. Her horse Sparky is blind in one eye, but copes so well and still competes at our local competition venues. He and my dear Chance who I lost in early 2015 were the best of friends, and helped each other out of a scrape or two! My young horse Dylan pulls faces at Sparky when he tries to say hello and he's eating his tea but I know he loves him really 🙈🐎. Karen and I were lucky enough to go on Carl Hester's yard tour 2 years ago and we loved every second. Carl and Charlotte are our idols and we'd love the opportunity to see them in competition :) thank you so much! X
Claire Matthews Liked and shared - I would love to bring Sarah Mitchell-Sheppard. She is our local riding school teacher and spends her life (despite having just had a baby) making everyone elses horsey dreams come true. All our children are taught and adored by her - she also spends any spare time organising the local Riding Club. Sarah adores dressage (and is very good at it!) and I know this would be a once in a lifetime day for her :-) xxxx
Angela Rawson If I won I would bring my best horsey friend Julie Blackburn we've had such a sad beginning to our year loosing loved ones both equine & people the battling to save another continues but hopefully there is light at the end of the tunnel.
Nicola Shipp Anthony Brown...Although dressage isn't his brew, there is so much to see and do at Bolesworth. Failing that, there is always Rebecca Walters 😉
Denbeigh North i'd love to take Annaliese Ashton with me but she has to work :( so If i won i'd take my mum with me and spend the entire two days teaching her more and more about dressage. also meeting carl and charlotte would be the most amazing opportunity for me as whenever i hit a bump or a tough spot they're my motivation to carry on!
Janine Northeast What an amazing prize. I would love to win this and I would take my wonderful friend Melanie Hales. Who has been through so much in the last couple of years and this would be a wonderful place to go and see how the professional do things. Finger crossed xx Good luck everyone 🍀 x
Hattie Simmons Liked and shared! What a fantastic prize! I'd bring my bestie Leah Wilkinson, the perfect partner for any horsey frivolities especially when any sort of bubbly beverage is involved, we haven't had much chance to do a lot recently as we both have had babies recently but can't wait to get back in the saddle 😍😍
Charlie Ashton Would love to win this always wanted to come to bolesworth and never had the chance and getting to meet the stars I would bring my best friend Sasha Niccolls with me who us my rock and I would be lost without her and we don't get to see each other very often as she lives in Anglesey so winning this would be great to spend some time togeather. Xx
Hazel Wainwright I would take my constant rock and best friend...hubby Steve who puts up with me prattling on about dressage, comes with me to competitions, mucks my horses out for me when i go to work & generally puts up with me!! If he would rather spend the time tinkering with his landrover then i would take my friend Marie.
Vanessa Leaver Stunning venue with world class dressage combinations! The Equerry Bolesworth International Horse Show at Bolesworth Castle.
Looks too good to miss. Two Brits returning home on a special road trip? 🇬🇧🐴👯. ClaiClaire Scheerders-Potter
Kim Forster I'd take my friend Hazel Sharron who doesn't know anything about dressage - but could be relied upon to make it a lot of fun and won't tell me to shut up about the dressage even when she's bored half to death. She will however truly appreciate the bubbles 🥂 as and the sparkles ✨ of a fab event.
Jackie Shingler I would take Richard Hope, it would be a lovely way to say thank you for all his help and support in getting me back riding and out competing again . Good luck everybody x x
Nikki Mountain Liked and shared 🐴🤞🏼I would bring my amazing instructor MicMichaela Pollitt without her our dressage marks wouldn't be improving every time we do a test. Without her we wouldn't even attempt a test 🐴😍
Jane Peters I would love to take my rda coach with me. Never had chance to go to Bolesworth. I feel Carl Hester lives in my house as he's always on my tele on horse and country Tv!! My idol and would be a huge tick off my bucket list. Anyway good luck everyone what a fantastic prize 🎉🎉😍
Wendy Blennerhassett I would bring hubby as he's so supportive even though i am not really good at dressage but he keeps encouraging me as i love it
Bev Nelson Liked and shared.. I'd bring my daughter who would love to see Charlotte Dujardin.. she's only been riding a year and has zero intention of ever jumping as she loves dressage so much! Thank you
Sara Lawton My mum cause she thinks Carl is a god , this would make her year no life time. Would really cheer her up as she not been well lately she would love it 😀
Amy Murray Wow! What a fab prize! If I were lucky enough to win I would bring my fellow horse mad friend Rachel Clarkson. Fingers crossed 🍀 😊
Lydia Witham i would defiantly bring my mother Nadia Witham it would be an amazing 2 days for both of of us my mum would deserve this so much she helps supports me with everything fingers crossed!
Jamie-lee Bowness Hard one but would have to be Lou Doyle so I can teach her to be a dressage diva and we can carry on our Bolesworth tradition xx
Amanda Neville I would take Em Watson. At least if I won this we would legitimately have a VIP pass!! (Private joke after another horsey day out!). Fingers crossed 🍀
Amy Louise Shackleton I'd bring Danielle Miles - I'm sure seeing dressage at this level would be enough to convert her 😉 (and if not, the evening reception at n the VIP tent would do the trick!!)
Joyce Gordon I'd take Gemma Golubowsky who will be a new mummy by this time and I'm sure would love a couple of days away from new baby and five horses 😙😙
Nicola Turnbull If I was lucky enough to be picked I would have to bring my rock Michelle Royce for listening to me cry for the past few days on the loss of my horse xx
